Mesolithic Flints found in Thatcham

Accession Number:

A set of four Mesolithic blades and a scraper made from flint, which were excavated in Thatcham.  The scraper is the rounded tool and would have been used to either remove meat from animal hide, make skinning a recently killed animal easier, or used to shape wood to make handles for other flint tools.
