Dish featuring St. Nicolas Church

Accession Number:

NEBYM:1962.7.6

This ceramic dish is decorated with a picture of St. Nicolas Church, simply called Newbury Church in the caption.  As the dish was originally made in Germany it is likely that the dish was mass manufactured first then sent to England where the image of St. Nicolas was later added.
